SalonSync ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SalonSync mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We believe in being straightforward -- no legalese walls.
Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
Business data: Services, products, client lists, appointment history, color formulas, notes, and other salon data you enter into the platform.
Payment information: Billing details for your subscription. Credit card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Stripe processes all card data in compliance with PCI DSS.
Usage data: Device information, app usage patterns, analytics, and crash reports to help us improve the Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your business data to train AI models. Your client data belongs to you.
SalonSync uses the following third-party services to operate:
Your data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
Booth renters and stylists can export their full client data — contacts, visit history, color formulas, and notes — at any time in CSV format. No waiting period, no export fees, no penalties. Salon owners can export all salon data including clients, services, products, and appointment history. We believe your data belongs to you, not your software vendor.
Switching to SalonSync from another platform? We support importing your existing client list, service history, and products so you don't start from scratch.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains available for export for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@salon-sync.co. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

SalonSync is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@salon-sync.co and we will delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
